PopNAT

Hospice UK’s population needs assessment tool. Created to bring together relevant and up to date population data for end of life care across the UK. For use by hospices and decision makers to understand and plan palliative and end of life care services for their local populations.

Gavurin Lite enables the analysis of data for topics and areas. For comprehensive analysis, you will need Gavurin Analytics (click on the Info button in any Map, Table or Chart to find out more). Feedback is welcome; use the 'Leave feedback' link at the top right of any page.

Choose a Topic

Select a topic you're interested in from the list below, then click 'Next' to continue.

Finding Topics...

Select a Level of Geography

Only one level of geography is available for selected topic and has been pre-selected for you.

Data is available to view at multiple levels of geographic detail. The options are ordered by size, with the largest set of areas first and the most granular ones last.

Click on your selection.

Select the Area(s) of Interest

Now select up to 100 areas to explore by adding them to the map below.

You can do this by any combination of:

  • Searching for an area (by place name, landmark, postcode etc) in the top bar
  • Using your current location, by clicking "Use my location”
  • Adding nearby areas from the side bar.
  • Removing an area by clicking the ‘x’ next to its name above the map.

When you’re done click “Continue to Dashboard”.

You can select areas to use in the pane to the right of the map. The names of each area within your study are shown in the blue boxes above the map. Remove an area from the study by closing the respective box. Only areas in the right pane are available for selection in this layer.
